Reconstruction of a 1994 hijacking plot with striking similarities to the September 11 attacks, in which a group of terrorists attempted to seize control of an Airbus A300 at Algiers airport carrying 177 people with the intention of crashing it in the centre of Paris. Their scheme was brought to a halt when the Algerian government refused to allow the flight to leave the airport - but when they began executing passengers, the French prime minister intervened, and the plane took off. As it landed at Marseilles to refuel, the secret service had to find a way of preventing it completing its deadly journey
