  • Season 4 Episode 2: Murder Is Easy

    Ever since a beautiful American woman arrived in the peaceful village of Wychwood-under-Ashe, people have begun to die in a series of what seem to be accidents.   • Season 3 Episode 4: Ordeal by Innocence

    Murder mystery, starring Geraldine McEwan. Jacko Argyle was hanged for the murder of his step-mother, but the whole family had put the tragedy behind them and moved on, until a stranger provides an alibi that proves Jacko's innocence. Suspicion falls on every member of the isolated household when it transpires that they all are much happier since the death of the matriarch and none of them had a cast-iron alibi.   • Season 3 Episode 3: Nemesis

    Geraldine McEwan makes her last appearance as the spinster sleuth before handing over the knitting needles to Julia McKenzie. Following the death of old acquaintance Mr Rafiel, Miss Marple receives instructions drawn up prior to his demise asking her to embark on a coach tour to investigate an unspecified possible crime. It soon transpires that many of her companions are also travelling at his invitation and they are all in some way connected to a girl who went missing from a nun's sanctuary during World War Two, supposedly to be with her German lover, Rafiel's son Michael. While holidaying at the plush Bertram's Hotel in London, Miss Marple is presented with a fresh challenge to her deductive powers when the reading of a will leads to murder.
