  Duff manages to escape and reveal Lord Fear's plan for conquering the world, prompting Mark to leave the school dance and rush to the carnival where he must play the game one last time : and only success will ensure Ace isn't permanently deleted. Last in series

  The Rat revolts against Lord Fear and takes over the carnival : will the Staff Head be able to bribe Lady Illusion into getting a piece of the Amulet for him, so that he can reclaim the throne, or will Ace Lightning save the day?

  Mark and his friends take part in school play Phantom of the Opera - and thanks to Chuck being sick, Lord Fear accidentally finds himself in the title role. Meanwhile, the Rat seizes a piece of the Amulet which got mixed up with the props

  Chuck organises a fan club meeting, enraging Lord Fear, who decides to crash the party. Mark faces a dilemma when Ace says he must choose between helping him and spending time with his new girlfriend Heather

  Ace finds himself losing the battle against Lord Fear, so Mark decides to help his pal by downloading new superpowers : only for his computer to crash, leaving the video game hero frozen solid

  Lady Illusion disguises herself as Mark and takes his place, leaving everyone wondering why he's suddenly started acting so strangely : all except Ace, who realises a sinister substitution has taken place

  Mark receives a visit all the way from England by his friend Pete, whose odd behaviour soon sees him fall into the hands of Lord Fear, prompting a daring rescue mission

  Chuck unintentionally takes a photograph of Sparx flying overhead and thinks he's captured a UFO on film

  Lord Fear decides to attack Mark in his own home while his parents are away, but gets stuck in the chimney

  While Mark and Samantha are off trying to patch up their relationship, their classmates, Ace and Sparx are captured by Lord Fear.

  Rat steals a piece of Mark's amulet and summons a new adversary : the dangerous cyborg Random Virus : who alternates between good and evil. With Ace no match for the volatile villain, Mark must face his fears alone

  Mark throws a Hallowe'en party but ends up having to leave to save Chuck from the Rat and Pigface, who mistake him for Ace Lightning
