Synopsis:
New series of the popular medical drama. A coach crash on the M62 causes chaos for the staff as A&E is overrun with patients needing treatment, while Sam is shocked to find her badly beaten brother waiting at reception. Elsewhere, new doctor Danny has a baptism of fire when he informs the wrong family of a patient's death : and later gets held up at gunpoint, along with Robert, by a man seeking revenge for the death of his son.
