Synopsis:
As Bauer closes in on his hideout, Fayed employs brutal tactics to try to gain his hostage's cooperation, but the kidnapped agent refuses to yield even under torture. President Palmer attempts to convince Assad to make a public address requesting peace, but Lennox, inflamed by news of the meeting, opts to take a far more extreme course of action
