• Season 1 Episode 7: 1991 Gulf War (2007) Next on: Tuesday 26th August 12:00pm PDT - The Military Channel The last episode in the series sees the father-and-son team examining the First Gulf War of 1991, when Saudi Arabia, the United States and Great Britain led an international coalition force to liberate Kuwait from Saddam Hussein's invading Iraqi army. Dan describes the revolutionary technology, such as stealth aircraft and precision-guided bombs, employed during Operation Desert Storm, while Peter discusses the tactics employed by both sides
• Season 1 Episode 6: 1982 Falklands (2007) Next on: Tuesday 26th August 11:00am PDT - The Military Channel The father-and-son team examine the Argentinian invasion of the Falkland Islands in 1982 and the counter-attack to regain control of the territory. Peter reveals the challenges faced by British forces who were thousands of miles from friendly bases, while Dan discovers the power of the Sea Harrier fighter jets that were crucial to the survival of their forces
• Season 1 Episode 5: Western Front: 1918 (2007) The father-and-son team examine major conflicts of the last century, beginning with the Battle of Amiens. They visit the killing fields of northern France, which were torn apart during World War One, and the British Army training grounds on Salisbury Plain, where tanks, aircraft, infantry and cavalry worked closely together. The conflict is brought to life with the aid of the latest CGI and an assessment is made of its place in history
• Season 1 Episode 4: Midway -1942 (2006) Next on: Friday 22nd August 9:00am PDT - The Military Channel The father-and-son team examine the Battle of Midway, the engagement that turned the tide of World War Two in the Pacific. Following the attack on Pearl Harbour the remnant of the US naval forces struck a decisive blow on the Japanese fleet, inflicting casualties from which they would never recover and spelling the beginning of Japan's fall as a major military power
• Season 1 Episode 3: 1942 Stalingrad (2006) The father-and-son team examine the five-month Battle of Stalingrad, which saw the Russian city almost completely destroyed and the best of Hitler's soldiers dying from exposure in the surrounding countryside. The pair go on a training exercise with the British Army to discover how snipers would have operated and Dan recounts one of the most vicious clashes to erupt in the battle
• Season 1 Episode 2: 1951 Korea (2007) The father-and-son team explore two key conflicts of the Korean War in 1951. Peter examines the challenges faced by American forces during the Inchon landings, one of the largest amphibious attacks in history. Dan recounts the infamous battle along the banks of the Imjin River where a few hundred British soldiers held the line against thousands of Chinese troops
• Season 1 Episode 1: 1968 Vietnam (2006) The father-and-son team examine the Tet Offensive of 1968, considered to be the turning point of the Vietnam War. It was a co-ordinated attack by the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army, taking advantage of the expected ceasefire during the Chinese New Year celebrations to catch the American and ARVN troops completely by surprise
