Season 1 Episode 8: 1991 Gulf War
The last episode in the series sees the father-and-son team examining the First Gulf War of 1991, when Saudi Arabia, the United States and Great Britain led an international coalition force to liberate Kuwait from Saddam Hussein's invading Iraqi army. Dan describes the revolutionary technology, such as stealth aircraft and precision-guided bombs, employed during Operation Desert Storm, while Peter discusses the tactics employed by both sides

How the British fought to regain control of the Falkland Islands after Argentina invaded the territory in April 1982. Peter Snow explains the challenges faced by forces operating thousands of miles from friendly bases, while Dan explores the importance of Sea Harrier fighter jets to the survival of the British fleet and goes on a night-fighting training exercise under live fire to find out about the tactics used by ground troops in the conflict

Peter and Dan Snow trace the events of the Yom Kippur War in 1973, the biggest military clash between Arab nations and Israel, which erupted as Jews marked the Day of Atonement, the holiest day in their religion's calendar. Graphics are used to illustrate how the Egyptians carried out their surprise attack after crossing the Suez Canal and pushing into the Sinai desert
