Movie (1979)
Clumsy belated prequel to Zulu, chronicling the 1879 massacre at Isandlwana in which more than 1,500 British soldiers died soon before the attack on Rorke's Drift. Sadly, this offering doesn't live up to the tension of the original. Although the scale is still impressive, the performances by the normally reliable cast simply aren't strong enough to keep things moving at a decent pace.
