A luxury car passes through three owners. A British aristocrat buys it for his wife, but is appalled at the use she finds for it. A bored gangster's moll tours Sicily in the vehicle while her husband is out of the country, and a European socialite uses the car to smuggle a resistance member out of Yugoslavia during the Second World War.
