A woman prepares to leave her home town for a new job in Hanover. She accepts a lift to the train station with her bitter ex-husband, only for him to drive off a bridge with her in the passenger seat. She survives the ordeal but when she finally makes her move to the city, she finds herself constantly tormented by her demons from the past.
