Movie (2004)
Romantic comedy, starring Kate Bosworth as a small town girl who wins a date with a movie star. Screen idol Tad Hamilton finds his bad boy reputation is damaging his career. His agent and manager come up with a plan to redeem him in the eyes of the public - giving regular girls across America the chance to win a date with the actor. The prize eventually goes to supermarket checkout girl Rosalee - much to the annoyance of her best friend Pete, who's secretly carried a torch for her for years. Things take an unexpected turn when Tad falls in love with his blind date, leaving him tempted to give up his celebrity lifestyle and Pete facing the prospect of losing her forever. Pleasant feelgood romance, also starring Topher Grace and Josh Duhamel
