An aspiring sorcerer undertakes a hazardous journey, transporting an abandoned baby to its destiny, in this fantasy adventure based on a story by George Lucas. Acclaimed director Ron Howard, the man behind The Grinch and Ransom, failed to conjure the necessary magic to make this the enchanting experience it could have been, but it's half-decent escapist fare.
