Synopsis:
Tender biopic of author and acclaimed wit Oscar Wilde, focusing on his affair with Lord Alfred Douglas at a time when homosexual liaisons were illegal. Refusing to flee the country when their relationship was uncovered, he was subsequently jailed, enduring two years of hard labour.
