Movie (1994)
Rather insipid adventure sequel set during the Alaskan Gold Rush, but owing little apart from the name to Jack London's much-loved novel. It follows the journey of a boy who races to the rescue of Native Americans with the help of his fearless hound, attempting to prevent sacred tribal ground from being taken over by miners. Unfortunately, it ends up being an uncomfortable mix of romance and ill-judged thrills, but younger viewers ought to enjoy it. Starring Scott Bairstow, Alfred Molina, Charmaine Craig and Geoffrey Lewis
