Movie (1954)
Nightclub entertainers Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye try to boost the popularity of an old friend's winter resort by staging a series of extravagant shows, with a little help from their former army buddies and two talented singing sisters. Sweetly simplistic musical, co-starring Vera-Ellen, Dean Jagger, Sig Rumann, Mary Wickes, Anne Whitfield and Rosemary Clooney, perhaps now better known as the aunt of screen star George. The film also features seasonal songs by Irving Berlin and was directed by Michael Curtiz, whose other films include Captain Blood, Yankee Doodle Dandy and, most famously, Casablanca
