Synopsis:
A baby elephant is separated from its mother and sets out on a dangerous mission to find her, enlisting an outcast from another herd to help with the mammoth quest. Drama using beautifully shot footage of the creatures in Chobe National Park, Botswana, which does provide some genuinely heart-warming moments - but the atmosphere is often more downbeat than audiences might expect in a children's film. Voices are provided by Angela Bassett, Debi Derryberry, Joanna Lumley and Anne Archer
