Bawdy historical adventure set in the 18th century, starring Tommy Steele as a man who takes desperate measures to save his brother from the gallows, eventually becoming a highwayman and going on the run from government forces. Based on the story of London blacksmith Jack Sheppard, who was allegedly forced into a career as an outlaw by a corrupt official. With Stanley Baker, Fiona Lewis and Alan Badel, and featuring a score by Elmer Bernstein
