Movie (2000)
A freak accident gives a womanising executive (Mel Gibson on top silver-tongued form) the ability to hear the thoughts of the opposite sex but, embittered after losing out on promotion to a female colleague, he uses his new-found talent to exact revenge. Appealing romantic comedy let down toward the end by poor direction from Nancy Meyers. Also starring Helen Hunt, with strong support from Marisa Tomei, Alan Alda and Bette Midler
