Synopsis:
Director Amma Asanta's film-making debut makes for harrowing viewing. It follows the experiences of a teenage mum in a South Wales town who sinks to nightmarish depths in an attempt to support herself and her beloved daughter. Stephanie James is terrifyingly convincing in the lead, while Brenda Blethyn appears as the youngster's grandmother. Gary Sheppeard, Nathan Jones and Dean Wong co-star.
