Movie (1963)
A series of interlocking tales charting the advance of a US infantry across Europe. The soldiers are initially based in Sicily, and are soon sent into battle in occupied France, moving into Germany as the war comes to an end. Along the way, a member of the unit is tempted to desert by a woman who wants him to join her in the black market.
