Movie (1982)
Sidney Lumet's compelling courtroom drama, starring Paul Newman as an over-the-hill lawyer who takes on a medical negligence case, representing the family of a woman left in a coma after a botched operation. At first he hopes to resolve things quickly by getting both sides to agree to a settlement, but his encounter with the victim reignites his long-dormant idealism, and he resolves to take the case to trial and bring those responsible to justice.
