A man becomes obsessed with his girlfriend's mysterious disappearance and embarks on an epic three-year quest to discover her whereabouts. Director George Sluizer's remake of his acclaimed French psychological thriller, which has none of the original's icy menace - and, criminally replaces the chilling final twist with an upbeat Hollywood ending. Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland, Nancy Travis and Sandra Bullock star in this travesty.
