Eccentric bookseller's assistant Ben Kingsley and disillusioned children's writer Glenda Jackson become obsessed with the idea of freeing turtles from captivity in London Zoo, joining forces with head aquarium keeper Michael Gambon to rescue the creatures and release them off the coast of Cornwall. Offbeat comedy adapted from Russell Hoban's novel by Harold Pinter, co-starring Richard Johnson, Jeroen Krabbé and Eleanor Bron
