Crew members from a Scottish trawler agree to smuggle Chinese immigrants from Belgium to make ends meet, hiding their nefarious activities from the captain. However, when the skipper decides to stay longer in the North Sea to improve their yield of fish, the immigrants are left in horrific conditions and tragedy inevitably strikes.
