Synopsis:
Rookie cop Ethan Hawke learns a host of valuable lessons when he embarks on his first day in narcotics, partnering seasoned officer Denzel Washington. But his older colleague's willingness to flout the rules forces him to question everything he's learnt as they resort to extreme measures to crack a case - leaving him battling his conscience in a dangerous situation. Excellent dark thriller, with Scott Glenn and Tom Berenger. Washington scooped the 2002 Best Actor Oscar for his performance.
