Movie (1975)
Ken Russell's visually dazzling adaptation of the Who's rock opera, starring Roger Daltrey as a teenager struck deaf, dumb and blind by a childhood trauma. He finds self-expression through pinball, proving his worth by beating master of the game Elton John. However, the pressures of fame soon begin to take their toll on the youngster, and when his senses are miraculously restored, he becomes the focus of a religious cult.
