A time-travelling cop sets out to track down a corrupt politician who has the power to manipulate history - and attempts to prevent the death of his own wife in the process. Naturally, his efforts land him in all manner of battles, with plenty of vigour and excitement, but not much underneath the gloss. Sci-fi adventure with Jean-Claude Van Damme, whose fighting ability fortunately saves the film from the doldrums. Ron Silver and Mia Sara co-star
