A vet believes that his daughter's cat is too sick to be cured and must be put down. However, a mysterious backwoods woman believed by locals to be a witch has other ideas, and succeeds in restoring the ailing feline to life. But the recovered pet now has no memory of its young owner, and when the little girl also becomes ill, her father, the mysterious healer and the reborn moggy must all pull together to help her get better.
