Movie (1998)
Epic, star-studded World War Two drama following the fortunes of a group of American soldiers sent to fight on the Pacific island of Guadalcanal, where they're forced to face their fears and find the inner strength to continue in the face of overwhelming odds. Sean Penn stars, with Adrien Brody, Ben Chaplin, Nick Nolte, Jim Caviezel and Woody Harrelson. Cameos come thick and fast from the likes of John Cusack, George Clooney and John Travolta. Acclaimed director Terrence Malick captures the beautiful scenery perfectly, adding a crisp visual sheen to proceedings.
