Synopsis:
A New York school teacher faces a mid-life crisis after being abandoned by her husband and the death of her adopted mother. To confuse matters further, the fragile woman embarks upon a relationship with the father of one of her students at the same time as her birth mother, an eccentric talk-show host, appears seeking reconciliation.
