Movie (1966)
Comedy, starring an uncomfortable-looking Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise as clumsy traffic wardens who take a break in the South of France following an unfortunate incident with a member of the royal family. However, their relaxation comes to an end when they get caught up in a jewellery-smuggling ring. Despite a suitably convoluted plot, the twosome's distinctive brand of comedy never translated well to the big screen, and this offering is no exception. Suzanne Lloyd and Peter Jeffrey co-star
