Movie (2004)
Viktor Navorski journeys from Eastern Europe on a visit to America - only for a violent military coup to throw his native Krakozhia into turmoil during the flight. The resulting situation means that his country is no longer recognised by the US government, leaving him unable to either return home or set foot onto the streets of New York. Stranded indefinitely at JFK airport, Viktor adapts to a new way of life by eating leftover food, learning to speak English from books on sale in the terminal and eventually being employed to help renovate the building. Steven Spielberg's offbeat comedy, starring Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stanley Tucci and Chi McBride
