Russian agent Charles Bronson sets out on the trail of a defector planning to unleash an army of hypnotised saboteurs throughout the USA. Don Siegel's espionage thriller hardly shows him at the peak of his powers, but there's plenty to keep viewers gripped, and the performances of the leading cast are excellent.
