Epic historical adventure, starring Yul Brynner as a brave Cossack leader who begins a feud with his own rebellious son, played by Tony Curtis. J Lee Thompson's film deserves credit for its scope, but despite the big-name cast, the final result falls short of the mark. Also starring Sam Wanamaker and Christine Kaufmann
