A business-savvy slacker and his camera-obsessed friend form a video production company after being fired from their jobs. But the pair are forced to take on an array of zany clients before they hit the big time with band the Swanky Modes. Bill Fishman's dated comedy offers a memorable soundtrack, thanks to soul stars Sam Moore and Junior Walker, and it's clear Tim Robbins and John Cusack revelled in their roles. It's just a shame the idea of a plot was drowned out by the musical mayhem
