Tales of Terror

Horror anthology based on three stories by Edgar Allan Poe, all starring Vincent Price. In Morella, a widower's bitterness over his wife's death results in tragedy for his daughter, while in The Case of Mr Valdemar, a man is placed in a state of suspended animation. Best of the bunch is The Black Cat, which also stars Peter Lorre as a jealous husband who tales a dreadful revenge on his unfaithful wife and her lover. With Basil Rathbone and Maggie Pierce
