An ordinary day on the New York City subway is thrown into turmoil as a train is hijacked, with the criminals demanding a large ransom. Dramatic remake of the 1974 film of the same name, with Denzel Washington and John Travolta taking the lead roles as subway dispatcher and hijacker respectively.
