Synopsis:
Part one of the ambitious but ill-judged fantasy based on Norse mythology, which inspired Wagner's Ring Cycle, and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Benno Furmann heads the rather shaky cast, playing a humble blacksmith who is actually the heir to the throne - though he is unaware of his regal roots. An encounter with a beautiful warrior leaves him smitten, but their romance is cut short. Kristanna Loken, Alicia Witt and Julian Sands also star. Concludes tomorrow
