Synopsis:

A woman is swept off her feet by the attentions of a charming rogue and soon agrees to be his wife, despite the warnings of her friends. However, his increasingly odd behaviour arouses her suspicions, and when his business partner dies in mysterious circumstances, she becomes convinced he's got murder on his mind.
