Movie (1987)
Cher is on top form in this decent legal drama, giving an impressive performance as a public defender representing a deaf vagrant accused of murder. Dennis Quaid co-stars as a juror breaking the law to lend a hand, and Liam Neeson features as the suspect, in an early film role. Fairly interesting, but director Peter Yates fails to instill the same degree of tension as he did in Bullitt. With Joe Mantegna and John Mahoney
