Pre-eminent surfer Steve Addington has his lucrative endorsement contract bought by a businessman who expects him to lend his moves to a virtual reality game. Concerned he would be selling out if he takes part in the project, Steve heads home to Malibu to continue his laidback lifestyle, but when the waves drop and his finances dry up, he is forced to reconsider his stance.
