Not the far more famous Cliff Richard outing of the same name, but a spirited and nostalgic musical version of Eugene O'Neill's play Ah, Wilderness. It chronicles the trials and rewards of small-town family life in turn-of-the-century America, with Mickey Rooney playing a man determined to get his fill of wine, women and song.
