Movie (2008)
Sugar is the story of Miguel Santos (Algenis Perez Soto), a talented pitcher struggling to make it in American baseball. Nicknamed "Sugar", 19-year-old Miguel travels from his poor community in the Dominican Republic to play minor league baseball in a small Iowa town, where he struggles with the language, the culture and the pressure of supporting his family back home.
