Movie (1998)
Ambitious Russian documentary-maker Vadik (Sergei Bodrov Jnr) falls in love with a British TV producer who encourages his talent. He thinks he's got the scoop he needs to break into the Western media when he captures a political assassination on film. But he later learns that the killing was faked. Drama that has a lot of promise, but director Paul Pavlikovsky seems to lose the plot halfway through. Also starring Anna Friel and Vladimir Ilyin
