Movie (1994)
The transition from popular video game to silver-screen hit can be a difficult one - and this futuristic adventure doesn't quite make it. Jean-Claude Van Damme heads the cast as mighty-muscled Colonel William Guile, who forms a band of vigilantes (including Ming Na, Roshan Seth and pocket pop star Kylie Minogue) to rid the world of evil and injustice. His first mission is to find an insane dictator holding a group of people for ransom, including some soldiers. Co-starring Simon Callow, and Raul Julia, in what unfortunately turned out to be his last role.
