Movie (1995)
Ralph Fiennes stars as a paranoid ex-cop who makes a living selling illegal virtual reality experiences, but finds himself in too deep when he receives a compact disc which contains the memories of a murderer killing a prostitute. It soon becomes clear the crime is linked to an old flame in danger from shadowy figures - so he risks life and limb to save his ex and put the racketeers out of business. Fast-paced thriller set on the eve of the new millennium, with Angela Basset, Juliette Lewis, Tom Sizemore and Vincent D'Onofrio. Director Kathryn Bigelow's earlier film Near Dark can be seen on Friday.
