An ageing man embarks on a bizarre cross-country journey to visit his estranged brother, hoping to heal the rift between them before it's too late. Though his eyesight leaves much to be desired, he carries on regardless - choosing a motorised lawnmower as his form of transport. Gentle and utterly beguiling drama with acclaimed director David Lynch once more turning his well-practised hand to the offbeat, starring Richard Farnsworth in an Oscar-nominated role, alongside Sissy Spacek, Jane Galloway, Everett McGill and Harry Dean Stanton. This was Farnsworth's final film appearance before his death in 2000
