Movie (1980)
Oscar-winning actor Sidney Poitier directs this likeable comic caper starring Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder as unemployed New Yorkers who travel to the promised land of California in search of job opportunities and a decent wage. But instead of work, the duo find themselves clocking on for a 125-year sentence for a robbery they didn't commit, so they put their heads together and plot their escape from 'the Big House'.
