Deeply disappointing sequel to the Oscar-winning original, starring Jackie Gleason and Mac Davis in the roles made famous by Paul Newman and Robert Redford in 1973. Embittered Lonnegan (Oliver Reed) plots his revenge on the duo who, having stung him in Twenties Chicago, are busy planning to fix a big-money boxing match. Also starring Teri Garr and Karl Malden. The score was penned by acclaimed composer Lalo Schifrin, who received an Academy Award nomination for his trouble
