The Enterprise crew rush back to the 20th century to prevent the Earth's destruction by saving one of the planet's most precious life forms, the humpback whale - but have difficulty adjusting to a world completely alien from their own. Hugely enjoyable sci-fi adventure, the most comical of the Star Trek series, which sees William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley keeping their tongues firmly embedded in their cheeks
