Synopsis:
Zany and hugely enjoyable romantic comedy with Tom Hanks as a man rescued from drowning by beautiful mermaid Daryl Hannah. She follows him onto dry land - New York to be exact - and the two fall in love, leading to all manner of crazy antics. John Candy is on good form in a supporting role, but it's the perfect pairing of Hannah and Hanks which makes this movie so good
